Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support for GA office facilities and personnel.
  • Manage office inventory systems, track supplies, and coordinate procurement of office materials and equipment.
  • Process and track support tickets through appropriate systems to ensure timely resolution of facility and equipment issues.
  • Coordinate shredding services and ensure proper handling of sensitive documents in accordance with Department security protocols.
  • Manage seating arrangements, space allocation, and workspace configurations to optimize office efficiency.
  • Submit and track building maintenance tickets and coordinating with facility management for repairs and improvements.
  • Provide reception support, visitor management, and general administrative assistance as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of office assets, equipment assignments, and facility related documentation.
  • Support meeting and event logistics including room reservations, setup, and audiovisual equipment coordination.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics for contractor personnel including workspace assignments, Government Furnished Equipment provisioning and return, access badge coordination, and inventory tracking.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the operational effectiveness of GA offices

Job description

Nakupuna Companies is seeking a Senior Operations Support Specialist in support of the Department of State (DoS) Bureau of Global Acquisitions (GA). DOS has a robust Acquisition Program with an average annual spend portfolio of $12 billion executed through approximately 25,000 contract transactions and $4.7 billion executed through approximately 1,200 federal assistance (grants) awards supporting a diverse mission set. GA reports to the Undersecretary for Management and has three organizational elements to include Acquisition Management Directorate (GA/AM), Acquisition Policy Directorate (GA/AP), and Federal Assistance Directorate (GA/FAM). The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Clearance Requirements

This position requires an active Secret security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Ability to walk and stand as needed in connection with meetings, conferences, and domestic or international travel.

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $115,000-$135,000. The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies' total compensation package for employees.
