Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead hourly staff in Rincon, GA and support travel to Chicago, IL as needed. You will oversee driver deliveries, loading/unloading, cross docking, scheduling, and ensure safety and compliance while meeting cost objectives.

This role requires strong leadership, experience with warehouse systems (WMS), excellent communication, and the ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with WMS systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Communicate performance standards and interview hourly associates.
• Supervise logistics operations including dispatch, loading/unloading, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, manage overtime and productivity targets.
• Safely manage day-to-day activities and provide training and direction to staff.
• Plan fleet/warehouse utilization and support continuous improvement across sites.
