Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Rincon, GA is seeking a Senior Operations Supervisor to lead hourly staff and oversee daily tasks including driver deliveries, loading/unloading of trailers, and cross-docking while aligning with cost objectives.

This role requires travel between Rincon, GA (70%) and Chicago, IL (30%). It is a Monday–Friday first shift with bonus eligibility based on performance, and a salary range of $61,900–$83,400.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with WMS systems.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable solutions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to coach and develop associates.

Responsibilities

• Set performance standards and interview hourly associates.
• Supervise logistics operations including dispatch and documentation.
• Manage labor costs to minimize overtime and meet productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with site leaders to meet customer goals.
• Plan fleet/warehouse utilization and equipment operation.
• Provide coverage and training for new associates.
