GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Senior Operations Supervisor for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm) to foster a culture of high morale and policy compliance in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will lead and train staff, establish schedules, and maintain strong communication with onsite customers and partners. A bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field with 3+ years supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and weekends
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field, or equivalent related work or military experience
• 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
• Solid problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to follow, promote and implement safety programs

Responsibilities

• Establish work schedules, assign jobs and train staff
• Guide, counsel and encourage employees; improve potential and champion high standards
• Establish and maintain relationships with onsite customers and other key partners
• Provide a safe and secure work environment through training and safety inspections

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes,sizesand weights
• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Reach (including above your head), bend, stoop, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel

• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
