Job summary

Blackrock Strategy is seeking an experienced Operations Research/Systems Analyst to provide advanced analytical and data science support for technology experimentation and assessment activities. You will lead complex experimentation, focusing on OR, experimental design, statistical analysis, modeling and simulation, MOEs and MOPs development, and evidence-based decision support.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related analytical field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive analytical experience.
• Experience translating problems into measurable objectives and metrics.
• Proficiency with Python, R, SAS, JMP, MATLAB or similar tools.
• Experience with data visualization and SQL.
• Strong written and oral communication and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to support field experimentation and on-site activities.

Responsibilities

• Design analytical frameworks translating problems into measurable objectives.
• Develop MOEs and MOPs, metrics, and data-collection plans.
• Conduct advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis of data.
• Evaluate technology performance to support investment decisions.
• Create analytical models, tools, visuals, and decision-support products.
• Provide QA for documents and methodologies with rigor and traceability.
• Apply AI/ML and predictive analytics to improve methods.
• Integrate findings across multiple events and data sources.
• Coordinate with commands, services, government, industry for data needs.
