Essential Job Functions:
- Analyze and report on large datasets, conduct data validation, and implement data analyses to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Understand complex data sets, identify trends and variances, and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Collaborate with various branches and divisions to support cost analysis and review cycles.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Access Macros.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of President’s Budget Requests, Congressional Marks, PBAC Withholds, transfer/reprogramming, UFR/UFR payments, fund migration, and fiscal year end processes.
- Familiarity with Program Budget Guidance (PBG) obligations, percentage Allotments, and Unliquidated Obligations.
- Technical proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Access Macros.
- Knowledge of the PPBE process and federal cost accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Minimum Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship
- Eligible for SECRET clearance
- Master’s Degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited U.S. college or university
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- COVID-19 vaccination
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in Microsoft Power BI and GFEBS
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience preparing reports and presentations for executive audiences
