Job summary

Ruiz Foods, a family-owned leader in frozen Mexican foods, is seeking an executive manufacturing leader in Denison, Texas. The position drives short- and long-term manufacturing plans and oversees an operations team to sustain growth, quality, and efficiency.

Required are a bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in the food/USDA environment, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration. A 20% bonus is offered along with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years related experience in the food industry/USDA environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus but not required.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced multi-plant environment.
• Excellent planning, organizing and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short- and long-term manufacturing plans.
• Develop and manage operations team skills and processes.
• Provide operations expertise to peers and senior management.
• Monitor equipment needs and ensure high plant efficiencies.
• Develop strategic vendor and customer partnerships.
• Establish long-range objectives, plans, and policies.
• Create technical budgets, allocate resources, and set project deadlines.
• Offer guidance and direction to carry out major plans and procedures.
