Job summary

Nutrien is seeking an Operations Manager for our Sheldon, IL location. You will oversee warehousing, logistics and inventory, directing multiple shifts and coordinating field activities.

You will lead a high-performing team and drive process improvements while delivering reliable service to internal and external customers. This on-site role requires 5+ years of management experience in agriculture or related fields, an agricultural degree is preferred, and strong computer skills (Word/Excel).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant management experience in vocational agriculture or related supervisory roles.
• Willingness to travel to market areas in other states.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall operations of location (warehousing, logistics, inventory).
• Plan, direct, and manage multi shift distribution.
• Oversee field activities, equipment scheduling, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
• Lead and develop a high performing team to meet goals with a cross-functional mindset.
• Provide customer service for internal and external customers.
• Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing company standards and safety inspections.
