Senior Operations Manager - CSTS, National Guard Programs and Studies

Overview

HJF is seeking a Senior Manager of Operations to plan, schedule, design, and carry out large and complex programs and projects. This position will support the National Guard program, providing weekly status reports and updates on operational efforts. It is a middle-level position in a three-tier Operations Manager series, with increased independence and initiative compared to the lower level.

This role supports the Department of Psychiatry / Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS), an esteemed organization dedicated to trauma research and education. The CSTS addresses various trauma exposures and is part of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU).

Responsibilities
  • Gather, develop, and maintain relevant data; communicate it to leadership and staff.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and briefs for guidance and decision-making.
  • Maintain historical data and operations records.
  • Engage with leadership and staff of identified components and units.
  • Develop and implement data collection strategies with key personnel.
  • Securely store and disseminate collected data.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including participation in training and budget responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 9-10 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of family programs and mental health services.
  • Understanding of DOD organizational structure and culture.
  • Subject matter expertise in the National Guard.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multimedia platforms.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a T1 public trust clearance.
Work Environment

Primarily office setting.

Compensation

Annual salary range: $100,500 - $186,600, based on experience and education.
