Job summary

B2U Storage Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager of Operations to guide the leadership team and oversee the design, build, and deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems at our Lancaster facility.

You will work with company leadership to set strategic goals and drive accountable performance across operations. The role requires extensive EPC experience, strong leadership, and a track record of managing complex projects, contracts, and purchasing.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of EPC experience in power systems development and engineering.
• At least five years of leadership experience overseeing projects and teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in operations management and strategic planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be able to work onsite in Lancaster.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations staff and contractors who design, build, and deploy B2U’s BESS
• Build out the operations team, in conjunction with company leadership

Job Description and Responsibilities

B2U is seeking a Senior Manager of Operations to join the leadership team, reporting to the CEO, whose responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing operations staff and contractors who design, build, and deploy B2U’s BESS
• Build out the operations team, in conjunction with company leadership
• Working with company leadership to define strategic goals
• Lead team negotiating contracts with suppliers, engineering firms, contractors, and other third parties
• Lead team which handles purchasing
• Developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting safety and quality control/assurance procedures

Skills and Experience

• Strong leadership, management and communication skills
• Project management, cost control, schedule development, and risk management skills
• Highly motivated, process-oriented self-starter who thrives in an innovative and entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within schedule constraints
• At least seven (7) years of experience with EPC work in power systems development and engineering
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience leading people and projects
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred
• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a senior leadership role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Demonstrated success in business development and strategic planning- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive results.
• Must be able to work onsite in Lancaster.
