Job summary

Ascentek, based in Golden Valley, MN, seeks an Operations Maintenance Technician III to maintain production equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, pump and control systems with minimal supervision. The role includes root-cause analysis to reduce downtime and support for capital projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing production or packaging equipment.
• Hands-on experience with industrial pumps (rotary vane, AODD, centrifugal, gear).
• Ability to read service manuals, schematics and mechanical prints.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive inspections and maintenance on production equipment.
• Repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system failures.
• Provide emergency repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during machine service.
• Support installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment and capital projects.
• Mentor less experienced technicians and coordinate with outside contractors.
