Xcel Energy is seeking a Standard Operations Supervisor to lead a safety-conscious, high-performing operations team across multiple functions and facilities. You will drive efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction by applying policies, procedures and continuous improvement to daily work.

Requirements include 5+ years in design, construction, operations, engineering or maintenance of utility systems or power plants and supervisory experience. A technical degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in design, construction, operations, engineering or maintenance of utility systems or power generation.
• Associates or technical degree preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of standards, procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Operational knowledge of asset management and analytics.
• 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible safety leadership and contribute to a strong safety culture.
• Evaluate team performance using efficiency, reliability and quality metrics.
• Direct leadership over crew effectiveness, quality and productivity.
• Recruit, coach, and develop talent; manage performance.
