Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking aMgr-Operations to lead a team responsible for processing, service, and administration of complex processes within Operations. You will coach staff, drive improvements and ensure compliance in a client-centric, regulated environment.

The role requires 5–7 years' experience in operations with strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills, plus a preference for a Bachelor's degree. In-office collaboration is required with some remote flexibility.

• Experience in operations, processing or customer service.
• Strong working knowledge of Operations processes and regulations.
• Proven ability to work with internal and external partners at all levels.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to team members accountable for processing, service, and admin of multiple or complex processes.
• Coach, develop and support the team to ensure timely, accurate execution while meeting compliance requirements.
• Drive process improvements and document procedures; oversee policies and risk management.
• Lead or participate in projects as a subject matter expert and align goals across the department.
• Set department initiatives and performance targets; manage workload and resources.
• Collaborate with partners to minimize risk and ensure operational effectiveness.
