Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervises production/operation staff across assembly, inspection, test, and final test.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and materials requirements.
• Participates in operational meetings.
• Supports the development and tracking of organization performance metrics.
• Schedules and conducts milestone meetings.
• Responsible for meeting or improving cycle time performance and other metrics.
• Ensures timely response to operations issues impacting customer satisfaction; aligns with customer/vendor requirements.
• Oversees safety training and compliance for department staff including EH&S training.
• Develops personnel through training, career development, coaching, and performance management.
• Manages hiring, reward and discipline processes.
• Supports capacity optimization; implements data-driven manufacturing processes and reports.
• Identifies process and quality changes to improve capabilities; drives Lean, Safety and Quality.
