JOB SPEC

Do you thrive at the intersection of planning, execution, and continuous improvement?

We’re looking for a supply chain leader with real-world factory experience -- someone who can optimize MRP, improve shop floor reliability, and drive results using data, discipline, and daily management systems.

At Implementation Engineers, you’ll lead transformation. We partner with top manufacturers to solve operational challenges, redesign supply chain processes, and embed systems that sustain performance. You won’t just advise. You’ll build, drive, and deliver measurable results.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A Factory-Focused Supply Chain Expert: You’ve worked inside manufacturing -- leading scheduling, managing MPS, and making MRP work on the floor.
  • A Hands-On Planner: You’ve implemented PFEP, managed BOMs, optimized routings, and partnered with operations to align production to the plan.
  • A Systems Thinker: You see the supply chain as one connected value stream -- from order to delivery -- and design processes to improve flow and reliability.
  • A Data-Driven Problem Solver: You build tools in Power BI, SQL, or ERP to drive visibility, eliminate waste, and improve performance metrics.
  • A Master Data Leader: You know that accurate routings, lead times, and planning parameters are the foundation of operational success.
  • A Change Leader: You drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and visual management tools. You help teams adopt new ways of working.
  • A Strong Communicator: You’re comfortable working across levels -- from the shop floor to plant leadership -- to build alignment and get things done.

The Role – What You’ll Do:

  • Lead projects to optimize supply planning, production scheduling, and material flow in high-mix manufacturing environments.
  • Analyze the current state, uncover gaps, and design future-state processes that deliver ROI.
  • Implement and optimize MRP systems, planning parameters, and standard work tied to production and fulfillment.
  • Enable S&OE or SIOP process enhancements by aligning demand and capacity at the factory level.
  • Build and maintain data tools and visual performance systems using Power BI, Excel, and ERP platforms.
  • Coach and guide client teams on daily management, planning routines, and cross-functional accountability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain to improve delivery, inventory, and labor utilization.

What You Bring:

  • Willingness to travel 100% (Monday–Friday).
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing supply chain roles, including planning, scheduling, or master data management.
  • Experience leading S&OP/S&OE routines, MRP optimization, and factory planning execution.
  • Demonstrated success improving KPIs like OTD, inventory turns, absorption, or fill rate.
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience (certification preferred)
  • Proficiency in ERP (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, etc.) and data tools like Power BI,SQL, or Python.
  • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a strong plus.
  • Prior consulting experience is valuable but not required -- what matters most is your ability to lead change, drive outcomes, and build trust.

Why Join Us?

  • Deliver real impact : You’ll drive change that lasts, not just write recommendations.
  • Be the expert : You’ll own outcomes and lead client teams through transformation.
  • Grow your career : Work alongside seasoned leaders across industries.
  • Flex your experience : No two projects are the same -- you’ll learn constantly and broaden your skill set.
  • Have a voice : Our flat structure values your insight and puts you close to decisions and leadership.
