Green Key Resources is assisting a client expanding its Operational Due Diligence function, seeking an experienced investment operations professional to evaluate infrastructure, controls, and risk practices of external asset managers.

The role offers exposure to hedge funds, private markets, real assets, and traditional strategies, with regular interaction with senior professionals across the investment management industry and opportunities to drive improvements in diligence processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in operational due diligence, investment operations, or related asset management function.
• Strong understanding of investment operations across public and private markets.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities; experience with reporting/visualization tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, organizational, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational due diligence reviews for prospective and existing investment managers.
• Evaluate operational frameworks across hedge funds, private markets, real assets, and traditional strategies.
• Conduct meetings with senior leaders across operations, finance, compliance, technology, and risk.
• Assess fund administration, valuation, trade operations, technology, cybersecurity, business continuity, and third-party providers.
• Prepare diligence reports, identify operational risks, and present recommendations to internal stakeholders and investment committees.
• Manage diligence timelines, documentation, manager communications, research, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
