What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and execute detailed compliance reviews of mortgage loan data and operational workflows
- Manage the end-to-end HMDA LAR process, including data integrity testing and submission
- Perform advanced audits of Mortgage Call Report (MCR) data for accurate quarterly submissions
- Develop, update, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in collaboration with the Compliance and Risk teams
- Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex compliance-related inquiries

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mortgage lending
- Minimum 4 years of experience in mortgage compliance or operational auditing
- Advanced proficiency with loan origination systems and compliance software
- Strong understanding of compliance risk management frameworks and regulatory change management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced certification (e.g., CRCM, NMLS Compliance Certificate)
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and loan origination software (e.g., Encompass)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including summarizing technical information for non-technical audiences
