Job summary

Qode is seeking a Senior OpenShift Architect to lead enterprise OpenShift initiatives remotely, working EST hours with potential travel covered. This role demands hands-on expertise and strong architectural acumen to plan and execute platform improvements from design through delivery.

You will design networking, enhance GitOps and CI/CD pipelines, and mentor teams while producing runbooks and documentation throughout platform lifecycles.

Qualifications

• OpenShift architecture and enterprise deployment experience.
• Strong Kubernetes networking and platform expertise.
• Experience with GitOps, CI/CD, automation, and version control.
• Advanced Ansible Automation Platform experience.
• Proven ability to drive projects independently.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve OpenShift platform readiness and operational maturity.
• Design and implement OpenShift networking solutions.
• Troubleshoot cluster health, capacity, storage, and workload issues.
• Enhance GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Advance Ansible Automation Platform capabilities and operational automation.
• Provide platform lifecycle and upgrade planning guidance.
• Create technical documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.
• Deliver hands-on coaching and knowledge transfer to team members.
