Job summary

Hugging Face is seeking a role that will shape API design, shipping fast, and delivering to developers. You will design, build, and maintain core features across libraries used by ML developers, and grow early-stage projects from first users to broad adoption.

You will architect advanced Python projects, contribute to frontend layers with modern frameworks, and collaborate with open-source contributors to drive community engagement and adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Experience architecting complex Python projects or frameworks.
• Track record of taking early-stage libraries to broad adoption.
• Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with React or Svelte frontend frameworks.
• Experience core-contributing to open-source projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core features across libraries for ML developers.
• Architect complex Python projects and frameworks for scalability.
• Grow early-stage libraries: define API, create demos, write docs, drive adoption.
• Work on real-time streaming and networking capabilities for Gradio 7 and beyond.
• Collaborate with open-source contributors and engage with the community.
