Lenmar Consulting, Inc. seeks a Senior Ontologist for Institutional Research to advance ontology and taxonomy efforts in financial analysis. The role is hybrid, with 3 days in office and 2 remote per week, supporting business stakeholders and technology teams.

You will maintain ontologies, collaborate with data science, validate model outputs, and apply semantic technologies to financial content and reporting. Strong expertise in OWL, SPARQL, and SKOS is essential.

Formación

• Experience applying OWL to financial/economic analysis.
• Familiarity with SKOS and industry ontologies.
• Strong ability to craft precise definitions in formal ontologies.
• Knowledge of financial instruments and markets is required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the Research Ontology and Trending Topics Taxonomy with new definitions.
• Consult with business on NLP projects involving ontology data.
• Serve as bridge between business and technology teams to ensure requirements are faithfully implemented.
• Assist in validation of results from large-language models and other models with automated tests.
• Educate stakeholders on semantic technologies and taxonomies in the industry.
• Collaborate with data science to integrate quantitative results into unstructured content.
• Coordinate with platform technologists on NER and document tagging and search indexing.
