Job summary

Allen Integrated Solutions in Springfield, VA, is seeking an Ontologist - Expert System Integrator to lead and oversee the integrity of NSG/ASG systems and to provide end-to-end SDLC support for cloud services and related products.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, 100% onsite deployment, and deep expertise in ontology frameworks and MBSE to drive mission-centric solutions and roadmap sequencing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related STEM fields, or 18+ years as a Systems Integrator.
• 18+ years of experience in DoD/IC processes and NGA production.
• Expert experience in system integration or systems engineering in government or industry.
• TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.
• Expert-level proficiency with BFO and Common Core Ontologies (CCO).
• Knowledge of MBSE, processes, tools and languages.
• Knowledge of Software Development Frameworks.
• Experience in geospatial intelligence.
• Knowledge of photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, and information management.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on vision, strategy, plans and requirements.
• Conduct solution assessments, scheduling analysis, and integration across IPO product lines.
• Translate mission needs into products and roadmap features.
• Plan, capture and trace user requirements and architecture.
• Support data requirement interpretation for content conveyance.
• Collaborate with IPOs, CDO, and CIOT providers to meet goals.
• Assist with AoAs, CoAs, and trade studies.
• Lead technical teams for ontology governance and implementation.
• Support strategic planning, project management, and risk management.
• Work effectively in a multi-contractor government environment.
• Maintain Agile schedule in JIRA/Confluence.
