Job summary

Poutrix is seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer for a major Transit Authority project in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will provide expert oversight of construction activities as the technical lead, ensuring safety and compliance with project goals.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, over 10 years of experience in engineering or construction management, and strong technical knowledge of transit systems. A competitive salary between $175,000 and $190,000 and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering or construction management experience.
• At least 5 years in transit, rail, or heavy civil infrastructure.
• Technical knowledge of transit systems and related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site engineering lead for construction projects.
• Provide oversight of contractor activities and compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare documentation.
• Supervise field inspection staff and review contractor schedules.
