Job summary

Shift4 is seeking an Onsite POS Installer, Associate to lead complete POS installations at merchant sites in Georgia. You will set up hardware, software, and network configurations, train users, and document work performed.

Expect local travel up to 200 miles and occasional national travel as part of enterprise projects. Requirements include 1+ year POS install experience, a technical background in network troubleshooting, and a valid driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical field degree preferred.
• At least 1 year installing or supporting POS products.
• Technician background in network/computer troubleshooting or installation.
• Experience with hand tools and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
• Good driving record and willingness to travel on short notice.
• Friendly, professional demeanor; ability to learn quickly.
• Preferred: CompTIA A+/Net+, MCP; bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete POS system and peripheral installations including hardware, software, network setup, and configuration.
• Conduct site surveys and troubleshoot network or cabling issues.
• Test hardware and software with minimal remote support and train merchants.
• Document installations with photos and manage equipment inventory.
• Travel locally (within 200 miles) and occasionally nationally for installations.
• Participate in enterprise account installations under guidance of senior installers.
