Job summary

Procon is seeking an onsite Electrical Construction Specialist with 7+ years of experience in large-scale commercial projects. The role requires overseeing electrical construction activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and safety standards, and coordinating with contractors and project teams on schedules and quality.

Ideal candidates will have deep knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, and documentation, plus strong communication and safety oversight abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 10+ years relevant experience may substitute.
• 7+ years in electrical construction on large vertical commercial projects.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices and standards.
• Experience with Procore is a plus.
• Strong ability to manage electrical contractors and schedule resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical construction activities, ensuring adherence to specs, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, and subs to develop and maintain construction schedules.
• Conduct routine site inspections to verify progress and quality.
• Enforce safety protocols on-site and conduct safety audits/training.
• Review and approve electrical shop drawings and submittals.
• Provide technical support to on-site personnel and subs.
• Perform quality control and electrical inspections per QC plans.
• Coordinate and manage 3rd party tests and inspections.
• Monitor on-site processes and compliance with drawings and code mandates.
• Assist in monitoring project design and risk management.
• Coordinate meetings and communicate with all stakeholders.
• Document daily reports and photography through project phases.
