David E. Looper & Company seeks an experienced Superintendent for a data center construction project located in Dallas, TX.

This role is the primary onsite leader responsible for safety, quality, scheduling, and coordinating subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of superintendent experience on commercial or industrial builds, with a strong ability to read complex plans and manage lookahead schedules.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of superintendent experience on commercial/industrial projects.
• Data center construction experience preferred but not required.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret complex plans, specs, and submittals.
• Strong leadership and decisionmaking skills.
• Expertise in scheduling, lookahead planning, sequencing and trade coordination.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all jobsite operations and field personnel.
• Develop and drive the project schedule with the Project Manager.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and monitor performance daily.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and specs.
• Identify risks and schedule impacts; implement solutions.
• Serve as onsite contact for owners, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee daily reports, documents, and closeout deliverables.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field personnel.
• Support mobilization, site logistics planning, and coordination.
• Engage in minimal physical tasks when essential for safety.
