Job summary

Empirical is seeking OneStream Developers to support design through sustainment of OneStream solutions for federal clients. You will design, develop, deploy, and maintain OneStream applications, rules, and data management components to enable planning, reporting, and budget execution with strong emphasis on data quality and automation.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of OneStream experience, solid VB.Net/SQL skills, and working knowledge of C#, Python, or REST API development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• OneStream solution development or architecture experience: data analysis, cube design, dimension modeling, business rules, workflows, and platform configuration.
• Three+ years of OneStream experience.
• Strong communication to present complex technical information in layman's terms.
• Ability to translate business requirements into design documents.
• Understanding of federal government financial close and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Configure, develop, and enhance OneStream applications that support finance objectives for federal clients.
• Build and maintain OneStream business rules, data management solutions, and application components to support planning, reporting and/or budget execution.
• Analyze, adapt, and translate client business requirements into functional system designs, configuration decisions, and technical solutions within the OneStream platform.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities by identifying issues, validating results, and helping deliver stable application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to support finance operations, process improvement, and technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
