Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Oncology Specialist to serve as the primary clinical liaison to medical professionals within a territory including Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. You will communicate clinical and economic benefits of Amgen oncology medicines and develop plans to achieve sales targets while delivering high-quality patient care.

In this role you will build and maintain relationships, coordinate medical education programs, analyze territory performance, and stay informed about oncology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales and/or clinical experience in healthcare/ scientific field.
• Associate degree with 6 years of sales and/or clinical experience in healthcare/ scientific field.
• High school diploma with 8 years of sales and/or clinical experience in healthcare/ scientific field.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan to meet sales targets.
• Service accounts and manage contracts while resolving reimbursement issues.
• Develop marketing strategies to drive sales and communicate product value.
• Analyze territory performance and adjust plans with the District Manager.
• Build strong internal/external relationships to support patient access.
