Role Summary

The Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS) will promote Pfizer’s product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists, educate healthcare community members on appropriate product use, and call on accounts to improve patient experiences and care quality. The SOAS plays a key role in increasing Pfizer’s brand presence with high-value customers through insightful account assessment and understanding of Pfizer’s products and resources.

Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary.
  • Valid US driver’s license and a driving record in compliance with company standards.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience or Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) experience working with key Oncology thought leaders or high-influence customers.
  • A proven success record in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare professional roles.
  • Exceptional learning ability and skill in communicating technical and scientific information to diverse customers.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Proficiency with complex digital applications and adaptability to Pfizer’s technology models.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of Oncology sales experience.
  • Master’s Degree or Advanced Healthcare Professional (HCP) Degree.
  • Experience engaging with institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
Experience Working With Moffett Cancer

Highly preferred.

  • Promote a broad product portfolio with deep knowledge of disease states and therapeutic areas.
  • Understand customer and market dynamics.
  • Generate demand and develop strategic account plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutions and top customers.

Work Schedule & Compensation

Field-based role with weekend conference work as needed. Salary ranges from $101,500 to $245,400 plus sales incentives. Benefits include 401(k), paid leave, health coverage, and more. Location-specific compensation structures apply.

Additional Information

Work location: Remote - Field Based. Reimbursement for recruiting expenses may be reported under Sunshine Act.
