The Role

We’re seeking passionate, forward-thinking individuals to join us as a Senior Oncology Account Manager in the Tampa territory. If making a meaningful impact and shaping the future of cancer care inspires you, we’d love you to be part of our mission.

Responsibilities:

  1. Effectively support Genmab’s Oncology portfolio in the U.S. marketplace.
  2. Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals for the territory by effectively positioning the benefits and use of Genmab’s products for appropriate patients.
  3. Demonstrates effective time management by focusing efforts on engagements that drive brand value, prioritizing activities that make a difference for patients.
  4. Develops and implements robust territory business plans centered on performance; meet or exceed territory productivity requirements.
  5. Demonstrates the ability to flex between virtual and in-person engagements and develop business plans considering account communication preferences.
  6. Demonstrates the ability to analyze key market data points and action insights into effective business planning.
  7. Develops strong and long-term relationships with customers in all assigned accounts, continually challenging customers with value-based solutions.
  8. Represent Genmab’s brands in a professional, compliant, ethical, and effective manner.
  9. Demonstrates thorough understanding of disease states, Genmab’s brands, and relevant competitor products and shows the ability to articulate value through all communication mediums (i.e., digital, live, etc.).
  10. Demonstrates a high proficiency of the broader reimbursement environment; possesses a deep understanding of the reimbursement and fulfillment pathways for injectable medications.
  11. Demonstrates highly effective territory management and superior selling competencies.
  12. Demonstrates the ability to creatively gain “access” to customers in the modern landscape.
  13. Fosters team effectiveness and accomplishments of shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience, and information.
  14. Effective management of territory resources and budget.
  15. Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the conduct of Genmab U.S. staff.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of BS/BA Degree in any area/discipline.
  2. Five or more years of sales experience in Pharmaceuticals; Minimum 3 years of demonstrated success in the Oncology marketplace. Hematology experience preferred.
  3. Hematology/Oncology launch experience.
  4. Demonstrated strong capability in account management, superior selling competencies, and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  5. Demonstrated strong business analytics to understand and analyze business and market drivers and develop, execute, and adjust territory business plans.
  6. Demonstrated skills at building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers, office staff, and others in the customer influence network.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in matrix teams.
  8. Demonstrated track record of developing self to drive and enhance performance.
  9. Must be proficient in the following applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, Veeva, etc.
  10. Must be flexible, able to manage multiple tasks, and have strong attention to detail.
  11. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, internal and external contacts at all levels.
  12. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills a must.
  13. Demonstrated commitment to operating in alignment with industry laws, regulations, and high ethical standards.
  14. Must live within the assigned geography.
