Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Superintendent for on-site leadership on projects in Mooresville, IN and Fort Wayne, IN. This full-time, in-person role requires strong leadership, safety focus, and excellent communication to manage multi-discipline site teams.

Responsibilities include mobilization through close-out, enforcing schedule, quality, and safety standards, and coordinating with office and field teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of commercial construction supervisory or field leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while focusing on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through close-out, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and Holder’s standards.
• Enforce project safety, quality, and schedule objectives, upholding a zero-accident culture.
• Oversee on-site workforces, coordinate daily scope and inspect installed work.
• Assign team responsibilities and maintain clear communication with office and field teams to support project goals and manage risk.
• Organize site logistics and coordinate day-to-day activities to optimize workflow, productivity, and sequencing.
• Read and interpret construction design documents to ensure accurate execution.
• Mentor and develop team members, promoting Holder’s culture of integrity and collaboration.
• Identify and resolve issues to maintain momentum and deliver results.
