Job summary

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) to support Field Operations on the Naval Station Norfolk project in Virginia. This is an on-site role with potential travel/relocation and possible second shift based on project needs.

The CQCM will oversee the project QC program, coordinate inspections, maintain RMS/QCS reporting, and work closely with leadership, subcontractors, and clients to ensure safety, on-time completion, and adherence to quality

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in commercial construction or related fields.
• Minimum of two years in a Construction Quality Control Manager role.
• Current USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification required.
• Experience with RMS/QCS systems preferred.
• LEED credentials preferred.
• EM 385-1-1 Level 1, OSHA 30, CPR and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and administer the project-specific Quality Control Program.
• Coordinate inspections and testing activities and maintain documentation.
• Support field and self-perform construction operations and RMS/QCS reporting.
• Collaborate with project leadership, subcontractors, and clients to ensure safety, schedule and quality.
