Job summary

Chestnut Hill Realty in Brookline, MA is seeking a Senior Apartment Maintenance Technician to lead on-site maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances, and mentor junior technicians. You will handle service requests, support the Service Manager, and ensure high-quality, responsive service for residents, with on-call duties and weekend/night coverage.

Requires at least 3 years' maintenance experience, valid driver's license, and strong customer service skills to

Qualifications

• Has experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• Prefer to work with your hands, problem solving on electrical, plumbing and appliance issues.
• Enjoy being part of a hardworking, dedicated team.
• Enjoy a variety of responsibilities, taking on challenging situations and come up with creative solutions.
• Understand emergencies arise, and are comfortable being on call (weekends and nights required).
• Valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Handle resident service requests and work orders.
• Performs complex diagnostics and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances and other building systems.
• Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
• Respond to on-call emergencies.
