Job summary

Apple is seeking engineers to define and architect on-device search technologies across iOS and macOS. You’ll collaborate with machine learning, NLP, and OS framework teams to build modular, scalable software that delivers great user experiences while protecting user privacy.

Successful candidates bring 4+ years of iOS/macOS development (Obj-C and/or Swift) and experience designing frameworks and APIs, with strong cross-functional communication and a track record of delivering robust

Qualifications

4+ years of iOS/macOS development with Objective-C and/or Swift.
Experience developing frameworks and designing application programming interfaces.
Comfortable communicating complex ideas across teams.

Responsibilities

Define and implement the architecture of Apple's on-device search technology.
Collaborate with ML, NLP and OS framework teams to tailor technologies for Apple platforms.
Deliver durable, reusable technologies with future evolution in mind while safeguarding user privacy across devices.
Work cross-functionally to evangelize and refine the architecture across products.
