Job summary

Crypto.com seeks an experienced Blockchain Investigator to join the Financial Crimes Compliance team. Hybrid or remote, you will lead on-chain investigations, map illicit networks, and support MLROs with timely insights to mitigate regulatory risk.

The role focuses on advanced analytics, SAR preparation, and collaboration with US BSA officers and regional teams, applying chainalysis/trm tooling and OSINT to identify threats.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Blockchain Analytics, financial crimes investigations, AML or related areas.
• Familiarity with crypto-specific threats, cross-border fraud and scams.
• Proficient with on-chain forensics tools and threat intelligence platforms.
• Knowledge of PATRIOT Act, FinCEN 311/314(b) and sanctions regimes.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute advanced on-chain investigations and map illicit networks.
• Support MLROs and regional teams with investigative insights.
• Perform OSINT checks and assess risks of digital asset listings.
• Develop SAR filings and collaborate with law enforcement as needed.
• Train team members on evolving blockchain investigatory techniques.
• Review transaction monitoring rules for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Interdict suspected wallets and maintain interdiction controls.
• Present findings and risk insights to stakeholders clearly.
