Job summary

Progressive GE in the United States is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst/Developer to perform OmniScript development for change projects and production issue resolution. You will analyze and develop with retirement business domain knowledge, translate requirements into functional/technical specs, and implement robust OmniPlus solutions; act as SME on complex system issues.

This role requires strong programming knowledge and experience with OmniScript, OmniPlus, OmniAPI, and related SunGard tools

Qualifications

10+ years of experience working with SunGard's OmniPlus recordkeeping system.
Very strong proficiency in the SunGard's OmniPlus package.
Very strong proficiency in developing with OmniScript.
Very strong proficiency with Omni transactions and transaction processing (Batch).
Working knowledge of OmniVBA. OmniVBA development a plus.
Proficiency with OmniAPI (OmniConnect) a plus.
Considerable testing experience within OmniPlus software.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Perform OmniScript development for change projects and production issue resolution.
Analyze and develop with retirement business domain knowledge.
Translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications and develop into code.
Root cause analysis of production issues within the OmniPlus system environment and OmniScript code.
Document and implement short and long term plans of action to resolve production issues.
Act as an internal SME to the organization on complex system support issues.
