Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking a Merchant to develop and implement omni merchandising strategies across the business. You will build innovative assortments, manage a P&L, maintain brand relationships and lead cross-functional work to deliver a seamless guest experience across channels.

You will manage Merchandise Coordinators and/or Assistant Merchants, align with leadership on strategic priorities, and drive profitability through data-driven decisions and partnerships across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant work experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience with category, product, trends and guest knowledge.
• Strong strategic mindset and financial acumen for profitable decisions.
• Experience managing brand relationships and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to meet sales, margin and turn targets.
• Lead brand relationships, negotiate terms, and manage assortments and activations.
• Create competitive omni-channel assortments and drive differentiation.
• Monitor trends and competitive activity to stay ahead.
• Partner with marketing, operations and FP&A to ensure profitability.
