Job summary

Diamondback Energy is seeking an Accounting Supervisor for Oil Revenue to lead and develop the revenue accounting team, oversee revenue bookings, reconciliations, and analyses, and ensure strong internal controls and SOX compliance. The role collaborates with cross‑functional teams and audits to drive accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting and 5+ years of leadership in accounting, with experience in the PRA module of SAP and a CPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or similar leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of revenue accounting and general accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and develop revenue accountants.
• Oversee booking of revenue, reconciliations, analysis, and distribution of owner royalties.
• Maintain internal controls and assist with SOX 404 compliance.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requests and support.
• Provide updates to senior management and support cross‑functional teams.
