Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Network Engineer in the Galveston Bay area to design, deploy, and support network infrastructure across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will manage switches, wireless devices, and network management platforms, ensuring reliability and security in energy operations.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in oil and gas networks, strong routing and switching skills, and ability to troubleshoot complex incidents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of network engineering experience in oil & gas/energy sectors.
• Experience with Cisco/Arista enterprise networking platforms.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NTP, RADIUS/TACACS+; load balancing.
• Ability to troubleshoot across on-prem, virtual, cloud and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and support network infrastructure including switches and wireless devices.
• Monitor performance, availability, capacity; identify trends and prevent outages.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents across physical, virtual, cloud, and hybrid environments with clear stakeholder communication.
• Document diagrams, standards, runbooks, change and asset lifecycle records.
