Qualifications

• 10+ years oil and gas land experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams of 5–10 personnel
• Extensive title, acquisition, and curative experience
• Strong ability to review and interpret complex mineral and leasehold title
• Experience reviewing landman work product and providing quality control
• AAPL membership required

Responsibilities

• Manage oil and gas land projects from initial assignment through completion
• Lead and manage project teams of approximately 5–10 personnel
• Establish project workflows, priorities, assignments, and deadlines
• Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule
• Review landman work product for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Conduct and review complex mineral and leasehold title
• Identify title defects and provide direction on curative requirements
• Provide guidance on title, acquisition, and curative matters
• Assign workloads and monitor productivity across project teams
• Maintain project trackers, status reports, ownership reports, and supporting documentation
• Identify potential project issues and develop solutions to prevent delays
• Communicate project status, priorities, challenges, and deliverables to clients and management
• Coordinate between landmen, acquisition personnel, title teams, attorneys, clients, and staff
• Establish and maintain quality-control standards for project work product
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to project personnel
• Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and client priorities simultaneously
