Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Sr. Offshore Operations Specialist to serve as the primary escalation and quality owner for offshore hospital A/R operations.

You will resolve complex offshore-related A/R issues, mentor offshore specialists, and drive improvements that align with SLAs and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on advanced oversight, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with onshore teams, IT, and vendors to implement workflow or system changes, including Epic

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in a billing office or healthcare setting with prior experience in healthcare finance, operations, medical reimbursement, and managed care contracts preferred.
• Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field; Epic training/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the escalation point for complex offshore hospital A/R issues and own investigations.
• Analyze offshore productivity, quality, and accuracy trends in hospital A/R work.
• Lead refinement and optimization of offshore hospital A/R workflows and ensure compliance with payer rules.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Offshore Operations Specialists to strengthen resolution capabilities.
• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and support training content development for offshore A/R work.
