Arena Energy, LLC is seeking a Drilling & Completions Engineer to support offshore shelf wells, collaborating with drilling, completions, reservoir, and production teams to optimize well design and execution.

The role emphasizes safety, cost efficiency, and schedule discipline, with responsibility for supervising multi-discipline teams and driving continuous improvement in offshore operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years offshore drilling and completions experience.
• Proven track record in drilling and completions operations, including wellsite experience.
• Strong design and planning capabilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to HSE excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop drilling, completions, and abandonment procedures for offshore shelf wells in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Incorporate input from reservoir, geology, production, and construction teams to prepare well designs.
• Supervise drilling projects, rig workovers, new well completions, coil tubing operations, and snubbing unit workovers; plan, budget, procure and report.
• Supervise plug and abandonment operations using rigs, coil tubing units, or snubbing units.
• Deliver activity plans and performance objectives and drive continuous improvement across operations.
• Facilitate learnings from reviews with input from offshore operations and subsurface teams.
