Job summary

RRD in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Office Services Associate to provide day-to-day office support, mailroom operations, and reprographics services. This client-facing role emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, and strong customer service within an established team.

The position is fully onsite in Mount Vernon Triangle with a fixed schedule of 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A high school diploma and at least one year of mail room experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Must have foundation mailroom knowledge and strong customer service.
  • Minimum 1 year mail room/office services experience, preferably in a large corporate environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, professional telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize appropriate logs for all office services work
  • Ensure that job tickets are properly filled out before beginning work
  • Perform work in office services, primarily reprographics, mail and intake functions according to established procedures
  • Follow procedures to run jobs in proper order
  • Communicate with supervisor or client on job or deadline issues
  • Meet contracted deadlines for accepting, completing, and delivering all work
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment problems
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Prioritize workflow
  • Performs Quality Assurance on own and work of others
  • Load machines with various paper, toner, supplies
  • Answer telephone, emails, and place service calls when needed
  • Interact with clients in person, over the phone or electronically
  • Adhere to Williams Lea policies in addition to client site policies
  • Use equipment and supplies in a cost-efficient manner

Job Description

The Senior Office Services Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional day-to-day office support services while adding value to both the client and internal teams. Responsibilities include mailroom operations, supply management, visitor office setup, responding to client and team inquiries, and other office services functions. While reprographics experience is preferred, candidates must possess foundational mailroom knowledge and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role that requires professionalism, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to build effective relationships within an established and tenured team. The successful candidate must be comfortable working a fixed schedule of 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and be flexible in supporting additional service lines as needed.

Location: Mount Vernon Triangle, Washington DC

Contract: Permanent, full time

Shifts: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 11am-8pm, with a 60-min break

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year mail room and office services experience preferably in a legal, banking or large corporate environment
  • Skilled in the use of mail, phone, email, digital reprographics and mail equipment
  • Familiar with general back office procedures to meet and maintain client satisfaction
  • Proven customer service skills are required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone and email etiquette
  • Attention to detail with good organizational skills
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and complete all projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
  • Able to make independent decisions that conform to business needs and policy
  • Good problem‑solving skills, with the ability and understanding of when to raise a problem to a supervisory level
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Must be able to interact effectively with multi‑functional and diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Must be self‑motivated with a positive can‑do attitude
Additional Information

The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $19.13 - $26.44 / hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call‑in, and/or stand‑by pay.
