Job summary

Crowe seeks an Offensive Security Manager to lead advanced security engagements and guide teams across client projects in a fast-paced consulting environment. You will perform penetration testing, risk assessments, and security program support, driving practical outcomes for diverse industries.

The role emphasizes strong communication, collaboration with the Cybersecurity team, and ongoing thought leadership to protect client business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or OSCE or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in cybersecurity, offensive security, or related consulting/industry roles.
  • Deep knowledge of Windows/Linux and databases.
  • Working knowledge of networks and OSI model.
  • Proficient with common offensive security tools (Metasploit, Burp Suite, BloodHound, Nmap).
  • Experience with or interest in AI and automation tools in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support Offensive Security engagements including network/web/wireless pentesting, social engineering, red/purple teaming.
  • Evaluate and test IT controls, security configurations, and interface security.
  • Provide practical recommendations for vulnerability remediation.
  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments across standards (NIST CSF/800.53/CIS) and present findings to IT, InfoSec, and executives.
  • Serve as an extension of client teams to lead or support program execution, including controls, metrics, remediation, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and supervise junior consultants; contribute to team development and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in practice development and thought leadership.
