Job summary

S&P Global is seeking an experienced Offensive Security professional to join our team in the United States. You will conduct red team engagements, design breach simulations, and work with purple teams to strengthen detections, incident response, and overall cyber resilience across our infrastructure and applications.

You will leverage offensive tools, scripting, and AI-assisted techniques to stay ahead of threats, and partner with development and operations teams to deliver actionable

Qualifications

• Excellent communications skills, able to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• 5+ years of hands-on offensive security, purple teaming or red team operations.
• Proficiency with Red Teaming frameworks and tools, both commercial and open-source.
• Strong knowledge of core concepts: networks, operating systems, cloud platforms, databases, web apps.
• Experience with scripting languages for automation.
• Experience with leveraging AI in attack/defense cycles.
• Familiarity with Cyber Threat Intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• GIAC RTP, RTO, OSCP, GPEN or equivalent certifications.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to cross-functional goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct red team engagements to simulate advanced threats against S&P Global’s infrastructure and applications
• Execute purple team exercises with defense teams to enhance detection, response, and resiliency
• Design and conduct breach simulations to identify security gaps and test controls
• Develop custom attack tools and methodologies to test security resilience
• Partner with development and infrastructure teams to provide actionable remediation guidance and security recommendations
