Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks an Offensive Hardware Security Researcher to tackle diverse security challenges on advanced GPU/SoC designs.

Responsibilities include researching vulnerabilities, developing security tools, and guiding mitigations within the security architecture. Candidates should have 6+ years in security research, expertise in side-channel analysis or microarchitectural attacks, and experience with ARM/RISCV, Verilog, and C.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years in security-related field with research experience.
• Experience with ARM/RISCV assembly, Verilog and low-level C.
• Understanding of large SoC/ASIC architecture and design.
• Experience with security reviews of firmware and defensive coding practices (SDL, threat modeling).
• Ability to collaborate remotely with experts to solve complex goals.
• Expertise in side-channel analysis, TEE, confidential computing or microarchitectural attacks.
• Proficiency with symbolic execution and/or fuzzing tools.
• Experience with JTAG, debugging, binary instrumentation (ChipWhisperer).
• Reverse-engineering with IDA Pro or Ghidra; ML-based side-channel research is a plus.
