Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Distinguished Offensive Cybersecurity Engineer to join our DMTS program. This role focuses on evaluating hardware and software for vulnerabilities and developing software to exploit and reinforce defenses while aligning with customers’ strategic priorities.

Expect a highly collaborative, cross-disciplinary team that works across disciplines to deliver secure, innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or related field.
• 15+ years experience in cybersecurity or related field.
• Applicants may need to obtain and maintain a government security clearance; Secret clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess hardware and software for security vulnerabilities using a breadth of technologies.
• Develop software that meets behavior and security requirements for tailored applications.
• Create new tools and systems to detect and exploit vulnerabilities and system weaknesses.
• Document nominal application and system functionality, in addition to implemented changes.
• Independently drive solutions to complex, multidisciplinary problems for customers’ strategic priorities.
