Job summary

Leidos in the United States is seeking a Cyber Operational Planner to advance planning, staffing, and synchronization of Offensive Cyberspace Operations for defense and intelligence customers.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and a polygraph, a BA/BS in CS or Cybersecurity, and at least 4 years as a CO Planner. Familiarity with Joint Publications and formal cyber planning training are expected.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Polygraph required.
• BA/BS degree within Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or relevant field of study.
• 4+ years recent work experience as CO Planner; can waive two years for Combat Mission Team experience.
• Familiarity with OCO concepts, capabilities, and authorities.
• Formal Cyber Operational Planner training within DoD or IC.
• Broad knowledge of Blue-space Cyber capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage in approved plans development and staffing within CO planning.
• Develop and synchronize Offensive Cyberspace Operational plans to deliver cyber effects.
• Support targeting selection, validation, and integration during execution.
• Draft and staff planning documents such as OP LANS, OPORDs, and FRAGOs.
• Support Joint Operational Planning Groups and integrate Cyberspace capabilities.
• Develop concepts of support and courses of action for plans.
• Provide situational awareness across projects and operations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cyber threats and blue-space focus areas.
• Review, approve, and submit operational requirements for cyber capabilities.
• Analyze internal and external CO capabilities and tools.
• Transition planning efforts to current operations.
• Navigate organizational structure relating to CO and interrelationships.
• Integrate intelligence planning with operational timelines.
• Conduct long-range strategic planning with internal/external partners.
• Communicate complex information clearly in oral or written form.
