Qualifications

• Five or more years of OD/ID grinding experience.
• Experience setting up and operating precision grinding equipment.
• CNC or conversational programming at the machine.
• Manual grinding and understanding of machine setup and process behavior.
• Reading engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate OD and ID grinding equipment.
• Grind between centers, chucking OD/ID, non-round grinding as needed.
• Produce components to tight tolerances with high precision.
• Program CNC or conversationally at the machine.
• Inspect and adjust based on inspection results.
• Maintain job tracking and time records.
• Collaborate with QA on inspection and process control.
• Identify improvements to quality and cycle time.
