Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build and operate secure cloud infrastructure primarily on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with some AWS/Azure exposure. This is a hands-on, remote role focused on reliability and security at scale.

You will implement OCI governance, Kubernetes platforms, Terraform CI/CD, and secure connectivity while advancing migration, HA, and DR strategies. Strong security credentials and 10+ years in cloud engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or higher.
• Security+ CE, current.
• Current OCI certification (Architect Associate or Professional).
• 10+ years in cloud or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on production OCI and Kubernetes experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement OCI architecture, landing zones and governance.
• Lead Kubernetes platforms installation, upgrades and operations; OKE is a plus.
• Build Terraform pipelines and CI/CD with integrated security scanning.
• Configure VCNs, DRGs, FastConnect, VPN and hybrid connectivity.
• Enforce IAM, encryption, zero trust and STIG hardening.
• Plan migrations to OCI with high availability and disaster recovery.
