Job summary

Mythics seeks a Principal OCI Architect to lead end-to-end Oracle cloud architecture for a large federal program, defining security design, reference architectures, and DevSecOps integration across IL5/IL6 environments to ensure compliance with federal requirements and secure coding practices.

You will mentor engineering teams, coordinate with Oracle and government stakeholders, and drive virtualization, AI workloads, and hardware-in-the-loop initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and OCI

Qualifications

Must be a US citizen with ability to pass a federal background check.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent).
16+ years of relevant professional experience.
4+ years of technical leadership or architecture experience.
Extensive experience supporting large-scale defense programs.
Experience with Non‑Classified, IL5, IL6 requirements.
OCI Professional Architect certification and Security+ certification required.

Responsibilities

Define and oversee end‑to‑end architecture and security design for a large federal program across IL5/IL6.
Lead engineering and DevSecOps teams and coordinate with Oracle and government stakeholders.
Ensure solutions align with federal cybersecurity requirements and OWASP principles.
Oversee integration of code security scanning within CI/CD pipelines.
Design solutions for virtualization and hardware-in-the-loop AI workloads.
